With all the marketing, promo and A-list celeb co-signs and collabs, did Drake’s first studio album do what everyone was expecting?  Well According to Nielsen Soundscan in the first week of sales TML moved 447,000 units in the US, taking the #1 spot on The Billboards Top 200.  Just shy of the 500,000 that was predicted by various industry professionals.  In Canada, Drake sold 31,186 copies and went certified platinum as well.  Of that, 16% of those sales were online.  Congratulations Drake for an album well sold.
