As if we needed to tell you again, June 15 Drake’s Thank Me Later will be dropping at all major music retailers.  Here’s our top 3 reasons why you should support.

1. Despite the recent online leak, remember Drake gave us 3 quality mixtapes that were FREE.  Long before Thank Me Later was even conceived, the idea of delivering good music has always been on Drake’s agenda even when he wasn’t getting paid for it.

2. There hasn’t been a Canadian hip hop artist who has garnered this much international  buzz, ever.  A child-actor turned rapper  is now leading the charge on an American dominated music scene.  Canadian artists can expect to see more opportunities for them in what once was considered an amateur music industry.

3. Grammy noms, international city tours and features on everybody else’s album all without his own.  Drake is the Canadian rap ambassador, a worthy one at that.  It’s our duty to be a part of this movement, be a part of music history.

I’ve heard it, you heard, everyone’s heard it.  Ain’t no surprises here.   If there was one album for 2010 I can say is worth the wait and a day’s lunch, this would be it.
