I am only posting the noteworthy performances from tonight’s BET awards. First up is Drake, fresh off of selling almost half-a-mil of his debut album in its first week. Drizzy and his favorite jacket rocked the house with live performances of “Fireworks”, “Over”, and a remix to “Lose My Mind” with Young Jeezy. He also took home the award for Best Male Hip Hop Artist.

So a year later, BET to got wise and finally let Chris Brown do a proper tribute to Michael Jackson (whether Jay-Z wanted to boycott the awards or not). CB killed it, but he lost me when he had that break down on stage toward the end.

One of the most anticipated performances of the night was the return of Kanye West.  His performance was dope, but I couldn’t stop thinking to myself that he looks like the devil up there standing on that mountain holding that pitchfork mic stand.  I thought he was about to perform an exorcism.  He is re-enforcing all the skeptics beliefs that he, and Jay-Z are Freemasons.  The devilish laugh at the end of his performance didn’t help either…

What do you think was the highlight of the 2010 BET Awards?  Feel free to leave comments.
