Toronto born comedian Russell Peters has placed 10th on the annual Forbes: 10 Top-Earning Comedians list with an estimated earnings around $10 million (US) during the last 12 months.

This does not surprise me, considering tickets have been selling out all over for his 20th anniversary tour including his two dates at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto last month. Peters is enjoying the fruits of his labor and moved into this swanky new residence last weekend.

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld tops the list with a reported $85 million earned and Chris Rock was a distant second raking in an impressive $42 million. For the full list of Forbes Top-Earning Comedians click here.
