Plug One, Plug Two, and Plug Three are true legends of Hip Hop. I have the utmost respect for this group because they stayed true to themselves for the last 20 years without following any trends, but starting their own and pumping out countless classics during that span. On Aug. 23rd the group was in town to give a performance at The Phoenix. What I was most impressed about was how they function as one cohesive unit; finishing each others lines, and a few times during the show Maseo came from behind the turn tables to rock the mic, while Trugoy got behind the wheels to cut the record up. After De La ran through most of their classics and the show was officially over, Maseo was having so much fun with the Toronto crowd that he refused to get off stage. He then broke out his record collection and spun for well over an hour after the show. The Phoenix Concert Theater was transformed into a impromptu nightclub. This night will definitely go down in Toronto Hip Hip History.

De La had way too many hits to get in this one video, so tune into TOFLO TV for footage of this and other concerts.
