Our good friends at Warner have given us their blessing to give-a-way Jay-Z’s THE BLUEPRINT 3 , which hit store shelves today (literally). This 11th studio album release has garnered straight classic status and how can we argue when you have the likes of Rhianna, Kanye West, Toronto’s own Drake, KiD CuDi, Pharell and more gracing this modern day legecy we’ve come to know as THE BLUEPRINT.
Jay-Z will be in town Friday October 31 at the Air Canada Centre for THE BLUEPRINT 3 Tour.
For your chance to win a copy of THE BLUEPRINT 3 and an exclusive bonus simply leave a comment telling us which Jay-Z album is your favorite and why?
Winner will be announced on this post Friday September 25 5PM EST.
Don’t forget to include your email or URL. Good luck!

Reasonable Doubt- Its a classic, plain and simple!!!
The Blueprint edges out Reasonable Doubt and The Black Album as Jay-z’s best album to date. Jay-z takes the the subject matter and paints you multiple pictures with lyrical complexity. Jay illustrates why he is one of the, if not the best MC alive at the moment. Taking you on a journey that visits the battle rapper (Takeover), the radio friendly MC (Izzo), and of course he gives you the smooth hustler/storytelling Jay (Never change, & Song Cry). Also included on this album was a classic callabo with Eminem (Renegade) and one of my favorites on the album was a bonus track not included on the tracklist “Girls, Girls, Girls (remix)”. Now tell me that The Blueprint wasnt his best album!!
I havent purchased The Blueprint 3 as yet. However, if the rest of the album is as good as “Run This Town” and the DOPEST track out right now, New Yorks’ anthem, “Empire State of Mine”……Jay-z just might have another platinum plus album and possibly the “New Classic” he promised us!
definitely the first blueprint. that’s probably my favourite album of all time. although the black album runs a very close second.
Reasonable Doubt. The title says it all, he was a relative nobody, on a make-shift record label, hustling records out of a trunk, and grew into this phenomenon we all sit and stare at. How many other artists have you going back, searching the shelves of a record store, trying to find their very first album still intact so that you can say that you “got it!”? There was reason to doubt him back then, but would you ever doubt him now?
I’ve been listening to Jay-Z since the days of him spitting like Twista on Original Flavors “Can I get Open” and there are many Jay-Z albums that I love but since I can only choose one it’s gotta be “Reasonable Doubt”. From start to finish the album is crazy with fresh lyrics, amazing production and club bangers that will still have Hip Hop heads goin nuts for years to come. My favorites are “Feelin’ It”,”22 Two’s”,”Dead Presidents II” and how can I forget Jigga’s flow on “Friend or Foe”
check one check two, you know what to do

my crew, well, they do pack, them n****s is murderous. Nuff Said!!!!
My favorite album would have to be “The Blueprint” because from beginning to end there’s not one track you’d skip. My favorite tracks would have to be “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)”, “Song Cry “, “Takeover” and “Renagade “. Besides “Reasonable Doubt” being a classic I’d also say “The Blueprint” is classic too. After taking in this album I knew Jay-Z was on his way to becoming one of the greatest Emcee’s of all time. A lot of people might not give Jigga his props but at the end of the day you need to respect him for his consistency.
The winners for this contest are Dwayne & the Maxes (which is kinda weird LOL). Thanks for all the comments folks!
