If you stayed up late and watched the whole thing last night then you are probably as disappointed as I am. I know that they only had a few days to get the Micheal Jackson Tribute together, but I feel like they could have done more.
At the last minute BET decided to exclude Chris Brown from their performances, and Usher was in France. Jamie Foxx did a good job hosting the show, but most of the performances were sub-par and I won’t even get into Young Money’s performance with underage age females on stage (I’m positive this was not Drake’s idea…).
I am sure along with everyone else, that we would have loved to see the original BET Award’s production with a dedicated MJ segment. Then maybe see BET actually take the time to put together a proper Michael Jackson Tribute, you know…kind of like they actually cared what they were broadcasting and how they choose to honor the most influential artist of our time.
